jack's baptism.

Our birthday weekend wasn't finished after Jack's birthday celebration on Saturday. Instead, we decided to really pack in everything we could and had Jack baptised on his first birthday, Sunday May 6.

We had about 30 friends and family there to witness our little ham officially become a child of God.

Of course we were running late and stressed about holding up the service. But, once we were there, Jack's precious little personality took center stage.

Jack loved getting to lean back and have water poured over his head.

He was a HAM while up in front of the whole congregation. He had everyone oohing and aahing and laughing!

After the service, John's parents had everyone over to their house {again!} for lunch and cake.

Of course most of my family left that day, so it was kind of sad to go from having everyone around back to quiet. But, we had a wonderful time spending a special weekend with so many friends and family!
