four years.

If it's hard to tell from the picture, we had a great time at our wedding.

Four years ago today I married my best friend and I couldn't be more excited to start our newest adventure {baby M} together.

J, you're my best friend and the love of my life. Here's to many, many more. Smuh!

ps -- I've added a little poll question to the left. At this point, I will not be posting sonograms/ultrasounds, but if you guys {proud commenters and quiet lurkers alike} want to see a belly pic or two, let me know!

do-over?

I'm already married, but if I could do it all over again ...

If this doesn't scream personality, I don't know what does! But, my our top would probably be zebra print.

If this were J's Groom's "cake," those would be Yankees caps.

Such a great idea -- who doesn't love to tell the story of how you and your guy met?
{found this on Emily's blog, who found it here.}

And, if I weren't set on wearing some kind of outrageous {read: fun} shoe, I'd wear these. I've kind of been lusting after them for a while.

Any thoughts on your wedding day and what you would or wouldn't do? And, if you're already married, is there anything you would do/wear differently?

A Doctah, a doctah, she's marrying a doctah!

Wow, sorry about my hiatus -- I keep wanting to post, but considering I haven't been wanting to take the time to put together an interesting post, I've put off posting {can I say post anymore in one sentence?}.

Anyway, last weekend we went to the wedding of one of J's fraternity brothers, Brandon. He and Namali met in medical school and we were so excited to see them get married!

The wedding party waiting on Mr. and Mrs. Pierson to finally be introduced. {love their logo!}

The first dance.

more first dance -- they looked really great on the dance floor

Worth the wait

Last weekend we were invited to a wedding for one of my pledge sister and her awesome fiance! They got married in OKC at the Skirvin hotel {it's been restored after sitting defunct in downtown OKC -- and I can tell you, they did an awesome job!}

Sarah is constantly a ball of energy {seriously this girl does not slow down...} so we knew that her wedding would be too much fun to want to drive home afterward. We got a room at the Skirvin for Saturday night and I'm so glad we did. We got to see so many people we hadn't seen in way too long.

The ceremony was beautiful. It was on the 14th floor {interesting tidbit: the Skirvin is sans 13th floor} in this gorgeous room with wood floors and crystal chandeliers. I wish I could have gotten some pics, but I didn't want to use the flash... Anyway, Sarah's dress was beautiful and each of the bridesmaids looked great -- the hair was awesome and another pledge sister, Lindsay Hartley, did their makeup! Sam looked so excited the whole time and he couldn't stop bouncing up and down to ready to finally get married to Sarah.

With the ceremony over and Sarah and Sam finally husband and wife, it was time to celebrate! We headed downstairs for a fun cocktail hour. Good drinks, passed hors d'oeuvres, great company...always make for a good time. Before we knew it, we were being ushered into the ballroom for a sit down dinner, the first dance, father/daughter & mother/son dances, etc.

Once all that fun was over, it was time for the DJ to fire up his tunes so everyone could hit the dance floor. Sam is Lebanese and his family made a great showing. The played the Lebanese national anthem, lifted up the bride, groom, FOG, MOB...anyone they could get their hands on! They certainly know how to have a good time... we could hardly get on the dance floor...haha!

Sarah and Sam called it a night and headed toward the limo showered with well-wishes and sparklers.

Sarah was a beautiful and way fun bride and Sam...of course was as gracious as can be that everyone came out to support them. I wish them all the best...they're a great couple!

I took entirely too many pics, but here are a couple of the better ones from Saturday night.
